  • Community Impact: Highlight Series
We celebrated our 30th anniversary with a lively family reunion style celebration on Sunday, June 30th from 12PM-6PM at SoFi Stadium in Inglewood, CA! Our community came together to enjoy musical performances, live discussions, games, food, wellness activities and a vibrant atmosphere. It was an incredible opportunity to connect with community, reminisce about our legacy and get involved in our journey F.O.R.W.A.R.D. (For Our Rights, Wellness, Advocacy, Resources and Descendants).

With health disparities continuing to be at crisis levels in California and across the nation, we have set a goal for to raise $1,000,000 in funding to further our mission of advancing health justice. Our programs span areas impacting our community's health and well-being, from preconception to aging, and include: mental, maternal, reproductive, sexual health, violence prevention, COVID-19, emerging health challenges and the impact of social determinants on health. All sponsorships and donations will strengthen operations and support existing programs focused on training, educating and building the capacity of Black women to become health advocates and activists.
