Kamilah V. Moore
Attorney and Chair of California Reparations Task Force
Denise Pines, MBA
​Women in the Room Productions
​CEO, author, speaker, filmmaker and health advocate, Pines is a media pioneer, award-winning marketer, serial entrepreneur, and community health advocate.  She served more than 14 years as a creative consultant for talk television and radio shows (PBS/NPR) and 11 social justice documentaries. As co-founder of Women in the Room Productions, she is committed to diversity in front and behind the screen. Pines work includes thought-provoking documentaries and engaging live programs for PBS, including the “Fight for $15” and its impact on small business, the school-to-prison pipeline, the plight of New Orleans’s residents on the fifth anniversary of Hurricane Katrina (directed by Academy Award winner Jonathan Demme) and a “one-night-only” Prince concert at the Conga Room in Los Angeles.
Kamilah Moore is a reparatory justice scholar and an attorney with a specialization in entertainment and intellectual property law. As a law student, Moore contributed to human rights reports related to domestic and international human rights issues, including, but not limited to racial inequality in Brazil, the human right to sanitation in Lowndes County, Alabama, USA; and the human right to remedy for indigenous Black women affected by racialized gender violence in Papua New Guinea.

​While studying abroad at the University of Amsterdam, Moore wrote a master thesis exploring the intersections between international law and reparatory justice for the trans-Atlantic slave trade, chattel slavery, and their legacies. She earned a Juris Doctor degree from Columbia Law School in New York City, a Master of Laws degree in International Criminal Law from the University of Amsterdam, and a Bachelor's degree from the University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA). Kamilah Moore was appointed to the California Reparations Task Force in 2021.

California Black Women’s Collective (CABWC)

CABWC officially launched in February 2021 with 12 members. Today, there are more than 2,000 members. The Collective is a coalition of Black Women leaders and organizations focused on Black Women empowerment, advancement and equity throughout California. Its goal is to amplify our powerful voice and show our collective strength in the political process as we build a bench. CABWC is intergenerational Black Women who bring a span of expertise in politics, community activism, collaboration, social justice, and beyond.

Our focus is to:
- Elevate our voice, power, and participation to secure adequate representation and reparations;
- Amplify our issues and priorities that are vital to elevate Black Women;
​- Organize and leverage our extensive talent, influence, networks, and brilliance into areas of collective alignment;
- Eliminate the racist and sexist attacks on Black Women and Girls; and
​- Elevate the agenda and collective power of Black Women locally and nationally.

This viral sensation hails from the south suburbs of Chicago, and calls Atlanta home. Member of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority Inc, Theresa is committed to education and service in her community. S.O.N.G.B.I.R.D. is dedicated to making arts and humanities accessible to young people through her outreach in school systems across the country, while also using her skillset to provide talent consultation/coaching and production management through her company, BIRD Media Enterprises.

The Band Hayez
The Band Hayez Created in 2017 by Lead singer Alicia Hall (Huff) is a collective of phenomenal musicians. Drawing inspiration from many genres like Funk, R&B and Jazz. This award winning group has graced stages all around California spanning as far as New Orleans.
