Sisters Mentally Mobilized - Oakland

Gain a deeper understanding of the forces that contribute to mental health stigma, anxiety and isolation in Black women and learn coping and support strategies to advance community priorities for mental health advocacy and organizing. Our Oakland/Bay Area Cohort will prepare you to launch a mental-health focused sister circle in your community.

Virtually Connecting Sisters in the Oakland/Bay Area

Our Sister Circles have gone Virtual!  The 24 committed sisters of Sisters Mentally Mobilized Oakland/Bay Area virtually come together weekly to eliminate mental health anxiety and isolation, especially during the challenging time of COVID-19. It's essential that we as Black women create affirming, safe and now virtual spaces for us all to tend to our minds, hearts, and souls.
