S.H.E LA
In 2013, CABWHP joined forces with T.H.E. Health Wellness Center and the Los Angeles Urban League to develop a partnership known as S.H.E. LA (Supporting, Healing and Empowering Los Angeles Women), which empowered the physical, mental and emotional well-being of Los Angeles women of color, and linked women to preventive health care services and treatment.

In 2015, S.H.E. LA continued the work detailed above, including conducting outreach and providing education about Affordable Care Act, Medi-Cal and Covered California eligibility and enrollment to a minimum of 2,500 unduplicated South LA residents.
