Love Power

The California Black Women's Health Project's LOVE POWER campaign encourages Black women and girls to make self-love and self-care a priority in our daily lives. Among other things, we are calling on our sisters to:

• Prioritize our mental and emotional health
• Take a stand against sexual violence in our own lives and in our community
• Embrace behaviors that will allow us to maintain a healthy weight and body image
• Actively fight for our lives by promoting and utilizing Plan A (HIV/AIDS prevention practices) and Plan B (Emergency Contraception)

The LOVE POWER campaign intersects with several of the programmatic thrusts of CABWHP including our:

• Mental Health Initiative
• Reproductive Justice Initiative
• Policy Advocacy Program
• Advocate Training Program
